One-Gallon Bowery, New York Stoneware Advertising Jug, NY State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tapered spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "Steinhardt Bros. + Co. / 315 Bowery / N.Y.". Cobalt band around shoulder. Wear to spout and blurriness to slip-trailing.
