Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, American, 19th century, both with coggled edges, one featuring bold straight and wavy trails of yellow slip, the other decorated with pairs of wavy yellow slip lines flanking two rows of dots. Larger plate with significant restoration interior, a large flake to reverse, and a crack from rim. Smaller plate with heavy chipping to rim, the glazed interior surviving in excellent condition. Diameter (of smaller plate) 7".
