Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and lug handles, decorated with freehand stripes, various stenciled and freehand flourishes, and a freehand "4" at base. Two chips to one handle. Small nick to opposite handle. Long colored crack on side of jar, connecting to a Y shaped crack on underside, with some repair to crack on underside. Sunken area to side of jar. Contact mark near base to opposite side of jar.
