Two Pieces of Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware, Western PA and West VA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, a one-gallon jar, stenciled "A.P. Donaghho / Parkersburg W.V.," circa 1880; paired with a one-gallon jar, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO / GREENSBORO, PA". Donaghho jar with heavy cracks in reverse, a tight crack in underside, and some faint lines emanating from base on front. Hamilton jar with significant sealed cracks on underside and side.
