Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, an ovoid jar with handles, the surface covered in a brownish lead-and-manganese glaze, paired with a slip-decorated redware plate with coggled edge. Jar with large reglued rim chips, a few other rim chips, handle chips, a few small base chips, and a short hairline from rim. Plate with thin cracks and heavy wear. H (of jar) 9 1/2" ; Diameter (of plate) 10 1/4".
