Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, flared collar, and ribbed strap handle. Surface decorated with splashed copper and manganese over cream-colored slip with orange clay ground visible. Clear lead overglaze. Excellent condition with a small stacker mark on top of handle, other light wear to handle, and light wear to rim. Glazed surface survives in exceptional condition. H 6 5/8".
