Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, tall rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an unusual fan-shaped foliate design. Excellent, as-made condition with some minor glazed-over chipping to rim.
