One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Incised Bird Decoration, Stamped "I. SEYMOUR / TROY," NY State origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated with a deeply-incised and cobalt-highlighted bird perched on a leaf. Excellent condition with an in-the-firing 3/8" stone ping at base on reverse.
