Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO. / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with applied lug handles and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a large cobalt design of a crested parrot perched on a leafy branch. Excellent color. Long horizontal crack at base on reverse. 4" crack from rim on reverse. Minor nick on interior of rim.
