Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "C.W. BRAUN / BUFFALO, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a tulip surrounding by various dotted and dashed trails. Excellent color to cobalt and clay ground. Chip to edge on underside of reverse of crock. Otherwise excellent condition.
