One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, possibly Northeast, MD, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with nicely-tooled collar, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant on the front, vertical swags on each sides, and leafy brushwork around the collar. Numerous tight lines on underside, extending partway up sides of pitcher. Glazed-over base chip. Horizontal hairline in handle. A few hairlines in collar. Restoration to spout.
