One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large flower on one side and two flowers extending across the shoulder on the reverse. Some in-the-firing glaze flaws to surface. Some minor chips to one handle.
