Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NJ origin, circa 1800, squat-shaped ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, thin semi-rounded rim, and applied loop handles, decorated with a stylized cobalt flower blossom on the front and back. 2" rim chip and another minor rim chip. 1 3/4" flake to one side. Clay residue on one handle. H 9".
