Rare Glazed Redware Jug Bank, attributed to Emmanuel Suter, Rockingham County, VA, circa 1865-1880, ovoid jug with pointed finial and carved slot with incised dot below, the surface decorated with spattered manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Descended in the family of the potter. Excellent condition with a shallow finial chip. H 5".
