Pair of Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to D.P. Shenfelder, Reading, PA, circa 1870, two ovoid jars with tooled shoulders and semi-rounded rims, both decorated with a flowering vine motif. One jar with a small rim chip and 1 1/2" hairline extending downward from it. Both with some discoloration. Otherwise mint condition. H 6 1/4".
