Unusual Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, third quarter 19th century, narrow-bodied, cylindrical jug with wide spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf. Small in-the-firing contact marks to one side. Shallow base chip and some tiny base nicks. H 10 3/4".
