Open-Handled Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Clarkson Crolius Sr. or Jr., Manhattan, NY, circa 1810-1830, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and open loop handles, decorated on the front and back with a brushed cobalt scalloped line design, accented with dots. Hairlines throughout. Small rim chips. Large base chips. H 11 3/4".
