Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Harvest Jug, Ohio origin, late 19th century, domed form with wide and narrow pouring spout, decorated with a large molded acanthus leaf on front, leaf and floral motif on reverse, leaves on the sides, and an elaborate molded handle with twisted edge and leaves. Desirable form. Provenance: From a thirty-five year Western PA collection. Restoration to section of smaller spout. Otherwise excellent condition. H 11".
