Rare Folk Art Stoneware Figure of a Reclining Dog, Midwestern origin, late 19th century, the molded figure of a reclining dog on rectangular base with impressed circular eyes, and incised details to face, paws, collar, and legs. Incised "W" or "M" between front paws. Surface covered in a light brown glaze. Hollow underside. Provenance: Recently found in New England. Excellent condition with a minor chip to right side of mouth. Length 7 1/2".
