Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Dog Doorstop, WV or Ohio origin, possibly J.P. Parker, Jane Lew, WV, circa 1875, in the form of a reclining spaniel on base, the surface covered in a heavy Albany slip glaze over a gray ground. Base chip on side near dogs front feet. 3/4" flake and another small flake to edge on underside. Length 8 3/4".
