Unusual Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Gemel, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid 19th century, two connected wheel-thrown jugs with rainbow handle and spouts on opposing sides, the surface covered in a light brown Albany slip glaze. Desirable form. As-made condition with a minor stone ping. H (to top of handle) 8 1/2".
