Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Looping Line Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & CO. / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a cobalt design composed of a continuous looping cobalt line. Slip-trailed "2" on shoulder. Staining to surface. Chips to one handle. Small chip to opposite handle. Chip to interior of rim. H 9 1/4".
