Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG," VA origin, circa 1890, cylindrical crock with squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt swags and hanging flowers on the front and back. Significant restoration to surface. Crock was apparently broken and reglued. Wide in-the-firing separation above one handle. H 16".
