One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "MARK WINELAND / FROSTBURG, / MD," Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with stenciled Frostburg, MD advertising and a stenciled flourish at the center. 5" hairline on underside, extending 1 3/4" up base of jar. Saltiness and some light discoloration to surface. H 9 1/2".
