Sixteen-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO / PA" circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with numerous stenciled flourishes surrounding the stenciled potting firm name, "Hamilton & Jones." Brushed cobalt "16" with flourishes at base. Two hairlines at base, continuing onto underside. Small handle chip. H 23".
