Three Pieces of Bell Pottery, Strasburg, VA origin, late 19th century, two small stoneware jars, measuring approximately one-quart and half-gallon, together with a lead and manganese glazed redware jar. Provenance: Descended in the family of Betty Cooley, the wife of potter, Richard Franklin “Polk" Bell. Smallest jar with a few minor rim chips and a tiny base nick. Larger stoneware jar with a small rim nick. Redware jar with small rim chips, stacker marks on top of rim, scratches to rim, and some light scratches to surface. H 4 3/4".
