Scarce Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Vine Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, approximately one-half-gallon cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder, tall spout, and applied handle, decorated across the midsection with a brushed cobalt vine embellished with numerous leaves. Additional brushed cobalt stripe at base. A few base chips. Light touch mark on front. H 9 1/2".
