Rare Large-Sized Stoneware Spittoon with Cobalt Freehand and Stenciled Decoration, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1875, decorated with four groups of three wavy stripes around its circumference and four stenciled foliate designs on the top surface. 1" chip and other minor chips to opening on side. 2 1/2" hairline on top surface. Tiny chips to opening on top. Long horizontal crack at base. Hairlines in underside. H 5 1/2"; Diameter 11".
