One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, NY," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a fan-tailed bird perched on a leaf. Restored handle. Faint lines at base, which appear to be in-the-firing. 1 1/8" line in spout. Additional 1 1/8" line in spout extending from a small chip. H 11 3/8".
