Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Foliate Decoration, New England origin, possibly F.B. Norton, Worcester, Mass., circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, applied lug handles, and tall collar with rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed design consisting of two leaves and various flourishes. Poorly-restored 1 1/8" rim chip. 2" in-the-firing base chip. H 12 3/4".
