Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "LYONS," Thompson Harrington, New York State origin, 1860, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated in brushed cobalt with a large two-stemmed flowering plant design. Brushed cobalt "2" above decoration. A few small base chips. Three small chip on exterior of rim. A few small chips on interior of rim, as well as a 3/4" shallow chip on interior of rim. H 11 1/2."
