Glazed Redware Ring Jug, American, possibly New England origin, 19th century, wheel-thrown ring-shaped form with applied ten-sided carved spout. Surface covered in an unusual mottled glaze with dark flecks. Numerous in-the-firing lines to surface. Two contact marks to surface. Minor spout wear. Length (from one side to tip of spout) 8 1/2".
