Rare Miniature Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Western PA origin, circa 1875, squat-shaped pitcher with tooled midsection, wide flaring collar, and applied strap handle. Decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip extending up the front, large cobalt dashes on the sides, and dashed brushwork flanking the spout. Exceptional size and extremely rare form for this region. Small spout chip. A few small rim chips. H 4".
