Shenandoah Valley Glazed Redware Cup, attributed to Anthony Bacher, Winchester, VA or Mechanicstown (now Thurmont), MD origin, circa 1880, finely-potted cup with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and ribbed handle with triangular terminal. Decorated with splashed manganese over a mottled orange and green ground. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. 3/8" contact mark on handle. Small foot chip. Two rim chips and light wear to rim. H 3 1/2".
