Rare Multi-Glazed Redware Creamer, Stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG," circa 1890, with bulbous body, pronounced foot, and flared rim, decorated with green and brown slip over a cream-colored, slip-coated ground. Entire surface coated in a lead glaze. Impressed vertically with a faint "S. BELL & SON" mark on shoulder. Signed examples of this form are considered quite unusual. Chips and heavy wear to rim. Lighter glaze wear to foot and handle. H 6 1/4".
