Small-Sized Redware Jug, Excavated in Baltimore, MD, probably Baltimore origin, early to mid 19th century, rotund jug with thin protruding foot, semi-rounded spout, and applied strap handle. Surface covered in a blackish lead and manganese glaze. This jug was excavated from a brick-lined privy on Waterloo Street in Baltimore City. Line extending approximately 3 1/2" around shoulder and extending upward into spout. Small handle chip. Scratches to surface. H 6 3/8".
