Glazed Redware Spaniel, American, probably PA origin, mid to late 19th century, molded figure of a seated spaniel with incised locket and chain, the face incised with a whimsical, smiling expression. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Attractive light orange and reddish coloration. Provenance: William Kelly Young Collection. Restoration to head and restoration completely around neck. Small nose nick. H 7".
