Bristol Slip Glazed Stoneware Spaniel with Cobalt Decoration, Ohio origin, late 19th century, molded figure of a seated spaniel, decorated with brushed cobalt highlights to cobalt highlights, including heavily-spotted ears and a striped collar. Provenance: William Kelly Young Collection. Base chips. 1 1/8" in-the-firing separation line to reverse, which does not extend through to interior. H 9 3/8".
