Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lids, Baltimore and Philadelphia origin, circa 1875, a Philadelphia stoneware lid, probably Remmey, decorated with three groups of leafy swags, paired with a Baltimore lid, decorated with daubs of cobalt. Philadelphia lid with small chips to flange on underside, a few tiny nicks to knob, and two faint lines from edge, in surface only. Baltimore lid has edge chips on underside and some light wear to knob. Diameter (of Baltimore lid) 10 1/4".
