Glazed Redware Jug, Northeastern U.S. origin, early to mid 19th century, with ovoid body, tooled shoulder, wide ribbed handle, and tall neck culminating in a thick spout. Surface covered in a lead glaze, producing an attractive creamy orange coloration. Heavy chipping to base. Some glaze wear to handle. H 9".
