Small-Sized Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, possibly Shenandoah Valley, early 19th century, decorated on interior with a wavy line of cream-colored slip near rim, and below with a straight line of cream-colored slip with overlying thicker, wavy line of brown-colored, manganese slip. Strong decoration and remarkable condition. Small flake of glaze loss below rim, measuring approximately 3/8" x 2/8". Otherwise mint condition. H 3" ; D 9".
