Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Running Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITES UTICA," New York State origin, circa 1860, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed bird with fan-shaped tail atop a stylized branch. As-made condition with two small in-the-firing touch marks on front and a stone ping on front. H 11 1/2".
