Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with flared base and rounded rim molding, decorated with a two-stemmed clover plant. Spout flanked by cobalt swags. Desirable large size. Significant restoration to cracks on reverse, sides, and front, which touches right edge of decoration. Hairlines on underside, continuing onto base area of pitcher. H 13 1/4".
