Western PA Stoneware Wax Sealer with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, attributed to Boughner, Greensboro, PA, circa 1870, cone-shaped canning jar with tooled shoulder and wax sealer rim, decorated with a bright cobalt tulip extending from an undulating stem with leaves. 4 1/2" crack on underside with thin lines extending from it. A few faint lines extend from underside onto base area of jar. Several rim chips and a few base chips. H 8 1/2".
