Rare Slip-Decorated Redware Plate with Bird Motif, PA origin, mid 19th century, decorated in green, cream, and brown-colored slip with the design of a bird with spotted body, crest, and fan-shaped tail. Unusual decoration. Knife marks and some small spots of glaze missing on interior. Chips to edge of plate. Diameter 8".
