Slip-Decorated Redware Dish, Inscribed "Lucy's Dish," Norwalk, CT origin, second quarter 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior featuring the yellow slip inscription, "Lucy's Dish," with a wavy line above and below, all under a clear lead glaze. Small chips around rim. A few short lines from edge. Light surface wear. Diam. 10 1/4".
