Three Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jugs, Meaders Pottery, Cleveland, GA, 20th century, large-sized, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and glossy dark-olive to matte-olive alkaline glaze, probably Cheever Meaders, mid 20th century; a squat-shaped, ovoid jug with blistered, dark-olive alkaline glaze, incised "Lanier Meaders" on underside, circa 1960s or 1970s; and a narrow-bodied jug with tooled shoulder and dark-olive alkaline glaze, incised "Lanier Meaders" on underside, circa 1970s or 1980s. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Middle-sized jug with handle reglued. All in otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of tallest) 17".
