Glazed Stoneware Jar with Lid, Inscribed "L.B.N.," probably TN origin, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical jar with flaring collar and arched tab handles, incised "L.B.N." in large letters on side, the surface covered in a brown Albany-slip-style glaze over a red clay ground. Includes original brown-glazed lid. Jar in very nice condition with a minor nick to each handle, minor rim nicks, and wear to underside. Lid in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (including lid) 11 1/4".
