Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Crock, probably SC origin, circa 1850-1880, tapering crock with semi-rounded rim and unusual small, rounded handles, the surface covered in an alkaline glaze featuring mottled olive-to-brown coloration. Excellent condition with a vertical 3 1/2" line to interior, not visible on exterior. H 8 1/2".
