Stoneware Water Cooler with Cobalt Floral Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1825, ovoid, jug-form cooler with tapered spout, circular bunghole and ribbed open handles, brush-decorated on the front with a large upswept floral motif. Cobalt stripe decoration to handles and highlights to handle terminals and bunghole. Includes wooden spigot. Section of spout connecting to proper right handle is broken and reglued along with two additional broken and reglued sections to proper right handle. Staining to surface. H 17".
